I'll post pictures soon from a funfilled weekend. But I wanted to give an update cause there's lots going on this week. A work Team arrived from a church in Washington State this weekend. It's a program called VWAP (Vacation with a purpose) There are about 60 people total. Families come with their children and work for the entire week which really blesses the base in a huge way. There are a lot of skilled workers and just today they got almost all the windows set in the dorm. They are also ripping out the old heaters and painting and other interior and exterior work.
We have meetings Sun, Mon and wed. at night with worship time and a speaker will share. thurs night we're having a campfire in our backyard and making smores. It's fun to have the boys involved too. They have been playing with some of the kids who were here last summer also. It's a very busy, crazy week but we really enjoy getting to know the people and it's such a blessing to everyone who lives in the dorms that people would take their vacation time to make this place look better.
