The bad, no, very bad haircut

So we've been telling Peter that we're going to take him to get his haircut and he keeps freaking out saying he just wants David to cut it. Last time he had a haircut, David held his head and I held his body. It was not pretty! So I get the sissors and I'm getting ready then David gets the great idea that he can just cut a bowl cut with the clippers. As peters' twisting and squriming. David and I were laughing so hard we could hardly finish. And then I think I teared up a little when I saw just how bad it was. And the best part is the Peter thought it was great. I'm just thankful that hair grows. And thanks to the Garrigan gene's, it grows very quickly. I reminded myself that maybe there is something good about living where it's so cold--little boys wear hats all the time.

Been there, done that. As my daddy would say, "Now he looks really TOUGH."

Thanks for the good chuckle. Mary you are a good sport. Nothing can make your boys look bad anyway. They are so precious.

We miss y'all.

This is Christy (Stortz) from Keswick. I saw your blog on Bryan's facebook and wanted to check it out. You have a beautiful family and sounds like there is never a dull moment in your family! Would love to hear how you juggle all of them successfully - we just had our 3rd and I am trying to learn how to help mine sometimes now that I have more kids than I have hands !
